# Arsinode

> Arsinode is a free desktop workspace for software and system architecture modeling. It combines diagrams, a shared model repository, requirements traceability, code engineering and optional AI/MCP connections.

Published desktop platforms: Windows x64, macOS Apple Silicon (arm64), and Linux x86_64 (DEB installer for Ubuntu/Debian-family systems).
Interface languages: English and Indonesian.

## Capabilities

- Visual modeling with 20 diagram types, including UML class, use case, sequence, activity, state machine, component and deployment diagrams, plus ERD, BPMN, ArchiMate, C4, SysML and UI wireframes. Notation depth varies by diagram type.
- A shared repository with reusable model elements, properties, connector routing and automatic layout.
- TypeScript, Python, Java, C# and Go code skeleton generation, and SQL DDL generation from database table models. Generated output requires review and implementation.
- Requirements traceability, relationship matrices, model validation, baseline comparison and testing workspaces.
- Local project storage and editing without an AI connection. Optional AI features send selected context to the configured provider. The application also has update, telemetry and feedback network features; local storage does not mean that all application functions are offline.
- A Model Context Protocol (MCP) bridge for compatible AI clients to read project context and propose model changes for review.
